Counseling

We believe an authentic church should strive to meet individual needs through relationships with others in community. You can develop relationships with others through home groups, support groups, and other connection opportunities. When additional care is required, our pastoral care ministry exists to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of Village attendees in unique life circumstances. The following services are available:

Biblical Counseling

We walk in partnership with several outstanding ministries who offer biblical counseling for those seeking healing, freedom and wisdom:

Specialties include depression, anxiety, anger, addictions, and marriage and family issues. The Center also hosts men's sexual addiction groups off-campus. C3 offers a wide variety of extremely qualified counselors and staff. Daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available. Support Groups at The Village

The Village also offers support groups for members facing a variety of issues. Current support groups include:

  • Recovery at The Village — exists to bring glory to God through lives changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. He does this as we live the greatest commandment, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and secondly, to love one another as ourselves. We draw near to God by His grace through faith and the application of the principals of community, truth, repentance, prayer, reconciliation, scripture study, Christian spirituality, missional living and foot-washing.
  • Hopeful Hearts — provides Christian-based support and encouragement to women who are struggling with the pain of fertility challenges including primary and secondary infertility, pregnancy loss and early infant death. For the ladies who lead this ministry it took longer than they had hoped to grow their families. They experienced unexpected loss time and time again — both early in pregnancy and as late as 32 weeks.
  • Grace Abounds — is a ministry for men and women dealing with the aftermath of abortion. It is a safe place to begin sifting through the emotions of guilt and shame and embrace God's grace, healing and restoration.
  • Grief Recovery — is a group that will point you to the person of Christ and walk you through godly grieving. Grief can be overwhelming and defeating. The Bible says that we are "pressed, but not crushed." However, it can sometimes feel as though we were crushed. Shannon Welty has dealt intensively with her own grief and the grief of others. God, in His mercy, has used her grieving experiences to draw her near to Him.
