Does it cost any money to meet with a financial coach?

No, meeting with a financial coach is free.

Will the financial coach tell anyone about my finances?

No, your meeting and what is discussed is completely confidential. The financial coach will not share your information with anyone.

Will the financial coach try to sell me any products?

No, while the financial coach may make general suggestions, such as what debts you should pay off first, they are not allowed to recommend any particular products. If you feel pressured to buy any particular product during your financial coaching session, you can register a complaint by calling (972) 537-1100.

How much money will the church provide?

The amount of financial support is determined on a case-by-case basis and is based upon need, funds available and is completely at the discretion of the team in charge of distributing financial crisis funds. The maximum amount of funds available from the church is $500 for a one-year period.

Will the church cut me a check directly?

No, people requesting support must send copies of their due bills into the church and payments will be cut directly to the creditor(s). No individual will every receive money directly.
