  • Fee (Member or Non-Member) — $450 and $50 deposit, for a total of $500.
  • The $50 deposit is refundable should you decide not to have your wedding at The Village.
  • The remaining $450 is due at the scheduled consultation meeting with the Wedding Coordinator one month before the wedding date.

Holidays and Weddings

Weddings and wedding rehearsals may not be scheduled on the following holidays: Easter Weekend, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the day and week following Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Facility Guidelines

The facilities at The Village are designed to provide a worshipful atmosphere for your wedding ceremony. We ask that you respect the property as you enjoy the environment for this special occasion.

  • No food or drinks may be taken into the Worship Center (apart from the communion elements).
  • All guests, decorations and personal items must be cleared from the Worship Center, Bride's Room and Groom's Room by 9 p.m. or as the last wedding party member leaves the church, whichever comes first. While janitorial services are provided, the wedding party is responsible for general clean-up.
  • The church assumes no responsibility for the security of personal articles.
  • Any appearance of intoxication is against our guidelines.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the church building, including restrooms and dressing rooms.
  • The bride and groom are responsible for purchasing the candles for the candelabras at the Highland Village Worship Center. Denton and Dallas campuses have battery operated candles provided by the church. Real candles are not allowed to be used at these campuses.
  • No nails, glue or tape are to be used to fasten any decorations to the furniture, building, carpet or church candelabras.
  • At this time, we are unable to accommodate rehearsal dinners or receptions on campus. However, we do have a list of recommended rehearsal dinner and reception sites in the area.
  • If you decide on a wedding during the month of December, please keep in mind that the church will have Christmas decorations in place. The decorations could change each year, therefore actual pieces used during Christmas are not known until December of each year. Christmas decorations are not allowed to be used at other times of the year and will not be moved or taken down for weddings during the month of December.
  • The bride, groom, wedding party and florist may enter the church two hours before the ceremony begins. Doors to the church will not be unlocked before that time.

Floral, Musical and Photography Guidelines

  • The florist is responsible to see that the church is clean when decorating is complete. The church is not responsible for storing any wedding decorations. All decorations must be cleared from the church building by 9 p.m. on the day of the wedding.
  • No nails, glue or tape are to be used to fasten any decorations to the furniture, building, carpet or church candelabras.
  • Flower girls may use fake rose petals only. We ask that fake rose petals not be used to line the aisle for decoration.
  • All wedding music must be approved by the Wedding Coordinator. This list should be turned in to the Wedding Coordinator during the consultation meeting one month before the wedding date.
  • The photographer and videographer may take pictures before and after the ceremony in several areas of the building — Bride's Room, Groom's Room, Foyer area and the Worship Center. We ask that the photographer be as unobtrusive as possible during the ceremony.
